After years of going to a high school program that focused on design,
a college for fine arts, and Texas State University for Comm. Design, I've never
been more certain of what I'm meant to do on this earth. A degree might prove to the
business world that I'm qualified for the job, but my interest in design stems way back
into my teenage years when I first laid eyes on the Adobe Suite.
That's not to say my sole focus is design 24/7. Many weekends are spent enjoying video
gaming with friends, going on photo-walks, making personal illustrations, building custom keyboards,
or even taking a weekend trip to flea markets and neighborhood garage sales to help grow my personal retro game collection.
Regardless of the activities, however, all these experiences influence what I do in my design.

Some of the Stories I Enjoy
Who doesn't love a good story about revenge, personal growth, or even non-sensical bizarre
adventures spanning multiple family generations? I still see myself as a kid at heart so if
a show has bombastic visuals or a captivating art direction, chances are that's enough to get me hooked.

A big part of what I love to do in life is just dive in to a good game.
Whether it's for the amazing art direction in Overwatch, the rebellious user interface design of Persona 5,
or the extremely catchy jingles from Koji Kondo of the Super Mario series,
I always reflect on what I love about this genre and incorporate those concepts into my work.
